Hi,

I build two SC theremins without buying the kits, first with telescopic antennas in both volume and pitch and the other with one fixed and one telescopic antenna. Seems to work nicely with adjustments made by ear. I also did these mods http://www.thereminworld.com/silicon_chip_theremin_modifications.html

As I didn't get any adjustment guide that was supplied with the kit, is there a "correct" way to adjust the IF-transformers and trimmer?

The building of this theremin is described in two issues of the EPE magazine. These are under copyright so one isn't allowed to publish the whole article on the net without written permission.

But I think I may send you the 4 page excerpt concerning just the adjustment procedure by email. Feel free to contact me: theremin(at)tfrenkel(dot)com

The adjustment guide is on the page you specified above.

The EPE article is the "deluxe" model if memory serves me right.

There are people who spend a lot of time creating a pdf file and sending it by email.

I hate people who even don't feel the need to say "thank you" for that.

I have lots of work to do in order to nourish my wife and four daughters. It's often a pain. Nevertheless I try my best to be helpful for other thereminists and to share my knowledge, experience and documents. But sometimes I really feel demotivated...
