Jason has a question, give him an answer.
How do you like the new text box?
I myself don't like the way the text box interprets a pasted message's carriage return as four line breaks or it's own as two.
What I do like is the text box's ability to accept MS Word text coding. I do most writing in Word in order to get my train of thought organized and my grammar more socially acceptable. lol
The spell check works good in the text box using Firefox.
I am in favor of keeping this text box of variety over the original!

The new one works fine for me. So did the old one. Either way is good.
I like that the new one is on the same page as the posts, and that we can post decent size pictures.
I have noticed that people don't seem to be able to find the make-a-link button.
The link button is a bit tricky indeed. You have to highlight the text you want to have a link on, then click the button. Alternatively, if you just paste in a URL, hit one space after it yo make it automatically turn into a live link.
Just a quick note - I've fixed the bug with adding links to forum posts that point to other pages on Theremin World. They were getting corrupted previously so the links wouldn't work. Now, if you add a new link to a page within the site, it'll work fine.
External links always seemed to work fine. Let me know if you see any problems with it.
I would have loved a "quote" button... I don't like to copy paste then type "so and so said"...
Firefox's typo/spelling checker doesn't work in this text box?
I'll see if there's a newer version of the text editor that works better with Firefox. Quotes shouldn't be too hard to implement either. Thanks for the questions/suggestions!
Can you try the spellchecker now to see if it's working?
Still some tiny issues on the iPad. The spellchecker works basically but often mixes words up. Is it possible that there is JavaScript running in the background when typing into this text box, creating a slight delay which prevents the spellchecker from following my typing in real time as it would in a simple text box?
Firefox's spelling checker is now working. Thanks! :-)
