So after I run my theremin into to pedals to change it into something else, I will now be able to turn it back into a theremin, albeit somewhat different that the original theremin sound.
I expect dreadful things from this . . . a zombie echoing my every note.

Yesterday I received the Zombie Theremin Pedal. The theremin effect emulates a led zeppelin single antenna theremin. Whenever you start a note, the pitch sweeps up from nothing to the pitch you are playing and when you stop playing the pitch goes down all the way. It does track your playing with plenty of glitches and sometimes it applies vibrato of the standard theremin kind. The theremin tone is mixed with square wave fuzz with hard attack and decay - a mix knob blends between these two sounds. An octave switch is provided - the low octave position sounds better.
So, if you play guitar and use this pedal, you will become a better than average ersatz thereminist. If you can actually play the theremin and use this pedal, it will make you sound like a better thereminist by comparison . . . well, maybe . . .
It is like someone repeating everything you say to annoy you, which makes this a perverse accessory to magnify one's efforts whilst degrading them at the same time.
Best used with a mix of other pedals to widen the sound of each note - strings emulation to the left, guitar distortion to the right, synth in right middle, theremin in left middle and zombie theremin to the far far left.
Way too much work. Half of that is more than enough. Three processes are more than enough. I will be using this pedal on occasion probably as much as I use the MIKU Stompbox - which every theremin player should have.
In the end, it is what you do with your hands that counts, but these pedals are like bejeweled rings on them fingers.

Thanks for the video links. I think The Zombie Theremin tracks a little better and the glitches sound more musical.
Curious how the Strymon makes a theremin sound . . .
