Lovely to see Miles Brown on his Etherwave Pro on "Art Works", an Australian ABC weekly Arts program (series 2, Episode 20) playing a modern piece - it inspired me to fire up my Claravox again and play.
I had convinced myself I had a volume antennae issue (because of all the posts about such things), but the last time I played it I did not let it warm up first - not so this time, buttery smooth glissando. The delay unit is so much fun to play with, the depth and complexity of sustained soundscapes you can create using the delay frequency and delay feedback knobs is wonderful. You can "pull" a Kick drum and then have it thump along in the background while decorating the high end. Fun stuff.
