Legato help needed.

I'm having difficulty in getting Legato to sound right.
How do you all do it on your Theremins?

Not bringing the volume hand so far down as to silence the theremin while you play the notes of the legato passage is the main thing. 
The timing of the sliding or jumping from note to note is something to give extra attention to when playing legato. Hope that helps.

I've been working on my left-hand technique more recently and have been told that I individuate the notes too much with my left hand. I think my bad LH technique sort of makes my playing sound like an erhu. Any more tips on playing legato would be helpful.
