Theremin based on Thierrymin design. The case is an old high precision d.c. voltmeter box. The element in the meter opened up so this put the box to good use. The telescoping antenna folds over for easy transport. Unfortunately the power supply is external because it made added too much capacitance and made the instrument difficult to tune. This way the device can be operated by an eternal battery or a "wall wart" power supply.
