Misc. Theremin Photos - Page 1

This page may take a while to load completely. Please have patience. For convenience, I've split the photo gallery into 3 pages.

Kalib's Digital Theremin

Kalib has been working with digital theremins for about 2 years. This photo shows one he installed in a gallery. Three strands of 100' barbed wire act as the antennae for 3 theremins, so chords may be produced. The wires were suspended in the air about 1 foot from the wall creating a cage around a lit 10' weather balloon. Kalib is in a band called Audio Terrorist. Other theremin works by Kalib include a performace art piece involving theremin trash cans and 20 cats.

Gerard

Gerard de Vreede's Theremax

Gerard is from the Netherlands and is helping promote the theremin there. He is also interested in speedskating and cajun cooking.

George McDonald's Triple Theremin

PAiA Electronics has a page about George and his triple-theremin. Be sure to check this one out!!

R.A. Moog Company Melodia Theremin

One of the earlier Moog theremins. Unfortunately, I've lost the e-mail this was originally sent in, so I do not recall who sent the picture. If it's yours, then "Thanks!" and please contact me again.

David Miller's TVox

David Miller has customized his Big Briar Etherwave theremin by fitting it inside this 1941 Philco radio cabinet. If you're interested in doing something similar, be sure to check out David's excellent web page on the project.
