A couple more questions:

- Did you (should you) connect the variable inductor housing "cans" to ground? It's not specified in the EM article, and not shown on the schematics. (Other schematics using similar inductors show the housings being grounded, so i'm assuming this is normal.)

- Did you (can you) buy that 10-pin front panel cable pre-made like that? Or are you stuck getting empty connectors and separate crimp pins?

- Finally, any sound samples yet??? :)

Cheers,

eric.

Eric...

- Did you (should you) connect the variable inductor housing "cans" to ground?
YES, They are tied to ground through the Printed Circuit Board Traces.

- Did you (can you) buy that 10-pin front panel cable pre-made like that?
Yes, I bought them like this from All Electronics. Part Number CON-2410 cost: $2.90 USD

No Sound Samples as of yet. I have been busy with my other classes as well as my capstone project. Not to include my job, family, and my two cars that I am restoring. Ones a VW Super Beetle and the other is a Bradley kit car.

I will try to get some sound samples soon though.
