I am really sorry for my comments to you here - I felt that you were insincere, that you were just persuing your "give us a sample" fixation and deliberately trying to wind me up by doing this..
To me, the sampling operation of my circuit is clear and simple, even in the first circuit which used pulses driving a SAH.. The fact that the audio output was whatever waveform was being sampled made the request for audio samples nothing but a wind up..
But I was wrong.
What seems simple to me has caused a level of "debate" and misunderstanding I could never have dreamed of, and from people who I regarded highly at a technical level..
So I accept that I have failed to communicate the idea in the simple manner that I thought I had, that the circuit operation is not obvious, and that I was wrong to say the things to you that I did.
I am truly sorry.
