buying theremins in canada

does anyone know where to buy theremins in canada or does anyone have one for sale? i'm looking for a moog etherwave, preferably unbuilt so that i can stain the box any colour i want. i'm willing to spend $400 CAD including shipping and handeling.

I was about to post the same question! All the websites that sells the Moog Theremin are in the U.S., and it doesn't seem that they can sell to Canada. There is one store/website in Montreal http://www.moogaudio.com , but their price is much too high, 550$CAN. I am still looking to buy from U.S. since the canadian dollar is so high!

I have just received an email from bigcitymusic.com. They sell the standard moog theremin to 379$US and will ship to Canada for 25$US.

do you know what type of shipping that would be?

Here is the info I have :

$25 - USPS Parcel Post (typically 8-16 days)
$31 - USPS EMS Global Express with tracking (typically 4-8 days)

that doesn't sound too bad actually, i don't think there are any brokerage fees with USPS. if the shipping had been through UPS or FedEx, it would have ended up costing me at least an extra $100 on top of all other costs.
