theremin in a new novel about the rock world

Has anyone read the fantastic new novel 'The Sound Of One Hand Clapping' by Fay Doxford? My friend got me it for Christmas, cos i love theremins, and the main character plays a theremin!! Which is really cool - i've never seen anything about theremins in novels and stuff before! Plus, it's a great book!
