So how's the weather in Connecticut?

You can fix it easy enough. Log into Frappr, click on the MyProfile tab, click on "Not in the US?" and enter Bristol, England (UK) (you don't need to type it all - you should see a dropdown menu as you start typing. Click on the one you want when you see it.) Then click the Update Location button. Sorted.

:-)

I think they're the mutt's nuts (http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/252150.html)!

Don't listen to me though, I'm a total mac fanboy! Get y'self down to the Cribbs Causeway mall and have a play with a mac in John Lewis (they probably have some on display) and see what you think.

In particular try out Garageband (http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/). It comes bundled and it's pretty neat.

If you like it, wait. The intel powered MacBook should be announced soon, and it will be better!

Yes I think i will go there with my freinds on the weekend and while they lark about i'll be serious for a bit and have a look at 1. they have them on display as i rember my freinds guessing the password and changing it! Although the shop people just reset it! I had a look at the garage band online and it looks good

You can only get the Peter Pringle DVD from the man himself.

If you've never been there before you should check out the rest of his website as well.

OK Zakiman, you can stop waiting now.

Apple's new macbooks (http://www.apple.com/uk/macbook/macbook.html) are out, and if you get one I will be sooooooo jealous.

Don't know if it's lockable, but this (http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObjects/ukstore.woa/6184041/wo/p11c2V1N7hcC2KtgnIk1AbT1hJ0/12.0.19.1.0.8.25.7.11.3.3) seems ok to me. :-) (picture (http://www.laptopshop.co.uk/images_big/images_large/fuse_hardpack.jpg))

If you want to chat about mac stuff off-list I'm at gordon at charlton dot demon dot co dot uk. (The best advice I have to offer is buy extra ram - get it from an apple dealer and fit it yourself - Unix likes RAM, Apple overcharge for it, dealers know the right sort for macs.)

Now, back to the theremin stuff...
