Hi,

I've finally got my Jaycar Theremin working and have been having loads of fun with it. I've tried plugging it into both my guitar amp and hifi but can't get any sound out of the line out and whenever I plug a lead in i get loads of interferance.

I've checked the circuit and there do not appear to be any problems with the wiring.

If anyone can shed any light on this for me it would be most appreciated.
Thanks

hello,
have you tried different cables for plugging it in?
have you made sure that the cable is making contact with all of the parts of the input jack?
other than those i can not think of any other reasons. sorry
good luck
and happy theremining

It may sound stupid or obvious, but make sure that you're using a mono (unbalanced) cable. A balanced cable on an unbalanced output could introduce high levels of noise...
