May I present to you Moog Etherwave kit # 5561.

After trying a few different speaker setups I decided to change R33 to a 47K resistor and it seems to work well with the cheap Crate GFX15 amp that I bought from the pawn shop. (The Fender Super Reverb that I was planning to use was sold by my mother many years ago)

I’m still not satisfied with the varnish coating on the case but I couldn’t wait anymore.

I’m going to let Kevin Kissinger (shameless plug for KC,MO) take my setup for a week or two so he can test everything out to make sure it all works as well as could be expected.
To be honest there are some knobs on the amp that I’m not really sure what it’s supposed to do when I turn them. (and don’t bother trying to tell me, you would have to type really slow...)

i'll try to get some better pics of it under natural lighting before Kevin get's his hands on it.

actually the "kit" part of putting it together only took about 3 hours.

it's only because i'm an anal perfectionist
(not to be confused with a perfect a-hole)
that the case has taken (is taking) so long.

I used to have a mechanic that worked on my Nash Metropolitan and my International Scouts.

Some of the parts are relatively scarce and he got tired of getting to the parts store and suddenly they didn;t have the part after telling him on the phone that they did.

When he got them on the phone and they said they had it he would say "OK, now do me a favor. Go and put your hands on the part. I'll wait for you..."

I'm sure that just made the poor parts guy's day....
