first off, hello everyone. nice to meet you.

i've had this theremin since 2004, i believe it was handmade by a man in austrailia, but i could be getting that mixed up with another synthesizer i have. it has always worked and sounded beautifully without any fuss whatsoever, until one day last week. when i woke up to practice and it just didnt make any sound. it hadnt moved from its spot next to the amplifier in days, nobody has touched it but me. and all of sudden nothing. after some troubleshooting i've found there is a pop when the sine/saw knob is switched. the volume antenna still works and there are pops when the pitch antenna is touched. but other than that, no sound. i cracked it open and it looks pristine as the day i bought it. and that's the other thing. since i've bought i had a bit of a paypal scare about 2 years ago and i had to wipe my account. so i no longer have the receipt and therefore no way of contacting the builder of this instrument. so. if anybody recognizes this theremin or can point in the direction of the problem it would be super awesome.
