Robert Wise RIP

Robert Wise, director of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" as well as some B-movies like "West Side Story" and "The Sound of Music", died yesterday at the U.C.L.A. Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 91

Yep. I heard that on the radio this morning.

I think the score from TDESS is my favorite use of theremin in any film.

Truly a remarkable man, and a wonderful score. I have been playing along with it all day.
