To try and stop the site from hanging intermittently, over the summer we'll be making changes to the server side code to optimize the site and help shore up some old plumbing back there and clean out all the crap that's come in from spam-bots.

It should be transparent to everyone, hopefully. But if something snags, please be patient and keep checking back.

Thanks for all your help with the site John! As folks can probably tell, I haven't had much time lately due to work. I'll be making another push on site work soon & am working through my backlog of over 1500 e-mails in the ThereminWorld.com account... so please bear with me. John is doing an excellent job of finding news material and patching up some of the buggier parts of the site for me while I get caught up. What a great community we have here!!

Sorry everybody for this last crash,
it was a bit on the long side.
Hope most missed it
or are checking back later.
We're working on it.

You may (or not) notice a few minor changes, mainly in the news pages.
The site's stability and up time has gotten much better, but we are still addressing the recent outages.
Thank you all again for your loyalty and patience.

Besides continuing to fix the leaky plumbing,
we've managed to finally add the Getting Started side bar and the subset of pages which started back in 12/2006 prompted by TomFarrell's suggestions, thank you.
There's also an easier to find search box side bar on the home page to ease finding the many gems tucked away at ThereminWorld.

Work continues on infrastructure stability/performance and the new up to date version. Thanks gang for hanging in there.
