Wow, four links to your vid placed on TW in 11 minutes. And I notice you're busy populating other forums too (I track theremin related activity as a hobby.)

Guess you really want that ring-mod.

I used a ring-mod on my submission. :-)

I've read the writing on his T-shirt and understood!

Good observation Thierry.

Between the the outfit, the sign, and the composition, it doesn't look (or sound) like he put very much effort into this video. He must not want a ring modulator that badly.

Besides, it appears he already has a fine collection of Moog products. I can see a Minimoog Voyager, probably a CP-251 on the left, and possibly a VX-351 CV Expander in the background underneath the other keyboard. Is it possible he's using is an MF-104 delay? Not to mention the Etherwave Theremin he's playing (with). And of course, the fine vinyl banner on the wall.

Popularity in what sense? I'm afraid I can't draw the same conclusion. But hey, if that's the case...more power to him. [/edit]

Or perhaps the t-shirt lies, and he is aware of the inverse correlation between quality and popularity.

His viewing figures compared to other entries suggest he is front runner in the popularity contest.

I'm thinking that's a synthesizers.com Q119 Sequential Controller underneath the keyboard.

Jeff - there are two prizes at stake, one for the "best" video - this is the subject of a poll on the moog forums (http://www.moogmusic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7819), and a second prize for the video with the most views - a popularity contest.

In the popularity contest he has the most views (http://www.youtube.com/user/moogMusicInc#g/c/33DA681E8F8F2E07) of all the contestants.

LOL! - Now I see it! All these years, and only now, because of one brilliant "throw away" comment by Gordon, can I see what is bloody obvious!

Thank you, Gordon - Life, the universe, and everything, now make sense! ;-))

Good call! Thanks for bringing that to my attention. So many synths...so little time...but, I'm learning.

I just don't understand how these young pups can afford all of this expensive equipment.
Of course, they're not making $2.50 an hour like I was at that age!
