Where can I try out a theremin in Portland, OR?

I decided that it is now the time for me to spring for an Etherwave. But, before I make the major purchase, I will like to get my hands on, err near J, a theremin to get a feel for the instrument and to see if I stand a ghost of a chance of learning to play it at a rudimentary level of skill. Is there anywhere I can try out a theremin in Portland, OR?

Unless you happen to be abnormally gifted, a brief experience with a Theremin isn't going to tell you whether you have the capacity or not. You could practice for months before even learning to play a scale.

What you could learn from toying with one is what its sound is like, how you can adjust the tone color, how well it seems to be made, and whether or not you enjoy toying with it.
