Just saw this listing on Ebay:

Does anyone have any experience/comments on this equipment?

I tried one and was fairly disappointed with it. It didn't work with 90% of my professional midi gear. When it did work, it had a sluggish response.

Etherspiel,

Thanks for the info.

I discovered that I can send cv's from my Epro or Tmax into the K2600... though I had to add a negative DC offset (the K2600 expects a control voltage between -12volts and 0 volts). I plan to get out my breadboard and do a bit of designing. Anyway, the K2600 converts the CV's into CC midi messages. Would not be difficult for me to run those messages thru my spare ST1040 computer to quantize the CC events into notes.

My motive is to improvise on the Theremin and capture the notes so that I can print out the notes later.

Anyway, I saw this auction and figured that, if the Midi Interface worked, it would save me a bit of time. Oh well...

I was watching this product too and was wondering why nobody's made a bid for it (with 16 hours left to go!)
Fortunately, I caught this thread and now, I'll have to think again if I want to buy it. :-P
