My better half does not like the sounds I make from my Moog. Can't convince her so she has christened my Etherwave as the MMB. I know it's not to everyones taste...................

She thinks it can often sound like a strangled cat. Well, I won't argue with her (no point!), so I'll go with the flow.

The attached picture shows how!

The pussycat theremin has been popular for years with the Japanese. When he first began to play, thereminist Masami Takeuchi used to dress up as a cat, complete with "fun fur" paws and whiskers: NEKO NO TEREMIN ("pussycat theremin").

One of the most watched theremin videos on YouTube (over 6 million hits) is a cat playing a theremin. In defense of the cat (which is the cutest "Scottish fold" kitty you ever did see) the video is far more entertaining, and demonstrates greater skill, than the majority of human theremin players.

Yeah, well when you're are skilled as you are Peter then just about every other human player won't be up to the mark lol. On the other hand I showed my better half your "Long and Winding Road" YT clip and she said that it was gorgeous & boy oh boy didn't you sing well (OK, OK I said; I get the picture) and why couldn't I play like that? Well at least she knows that a good sound can be had from theremins. Just not from mine yet, but I have only just started................

Lets have some close ups of yours Amey as my Annie (hippie chick fiancee) wants to know if it has daisy flowers on it. I reminded her you had a SubScope; not a Split Screen Camper Van (which she'd just die to own!!!).
