recently lost Theremin

Hello, I joined this site many years ago and can't seem to find my registration. I had an old theremin, it was at least 70 years old.?  It was numbered and I registered it with this site.  I recently lost it in a fire and I have no idea how much to tell the insurance people.  I also lost a musical saw that was also my dads-any ideas on that?

Gasp!  Debbie- I hope that this is a halloween prank.  Please dont tell us that another RCA was lost!

Depending on condition, and based on recent auctions, Id say it was worth from $5,000 to $15,000.

Thank you, I wish it was a prank.  I'm still in shock from the fire damage.  I sifted through the debris to find the metal rods and found parts of the curved one. I think it got broken by the firefighters but they saved my house and no one was hurt.

You RCA is on our site here: http://www.rcatheremin.com/registry.php#!2 in the unregistered section since we never got the full serial number, just the cabinet number. I guess we will need to make a category on our site for recently destroyed RCAs—something we haven't had to do yet.
