Heads up - will be deleting inactive users soon

We have a large number of registered user accounts that have not logged in over the past 3 years and have never posted comments, forum posts, or photos. I'll be deleting those this weekend.

I'll also be removing the "website" link from personal profiles unless you are a proven non-spam user. Many inactive registered users seem to be using their profile page as a way to generate cross-links to their spam & scam sites.

Hopefully this will make things a bit faster and will be less of an incentive for spammers to create accounts here. Thanks to everyone who has been reporting spam posts in the forums recently!

Website and Bio now only show up if you're a proven trusted non-spam user. I won't specify exactly how that's determined yet, but hopefully it'll cut down on spam users who just create bios to get their links spread around.

Jason, thanks!  I don't understand spammers. 

I hate to ask you this here as it is OT, but do you know what might be wrong with the PM system?  I get emails when I get PMs that take me to links that work, but I can't just view all my PMs like I used to be able to when I see the alert on the TW page, the page is blank.

Yesterday I replied to the admin@thereminworld.com address, and that contained a TW PM email sent to me.  Is that the email I should be using to contact you?

I deleted over 8000 inactive users today who had 0 approved forum posts or comments.
