"I visited Moog Music in Asheville, North Carolina today, since I was passing through town visiting relatives over the holidays. I asked about the rumored "new" Moog theremin, and indeed there will be one coming out this coming year. It will be officially announced at the NAMM convention in Anaheim (which I think is in January). It sounds like it's a more professional theremin than the Etherwave, with a larger pitch range. It will not have MIDI. Stay tuned...it sounds like a winner!!"
