Andy Ihnatko of the Chicago Sun Times has this to say about digital music downloads potentially being the end of theremin music. While I know it's a lighthearted article, I think Andy misses the point... While massive record labels may choose not to produce or promote music featuring such fringe instruments as the theremin, digital music formats make it much easier for individual bands to promote themselves. Just ask any of the indie groups in our bands list.
Don't believe me? Do a quick search for theremin on mp3.com. Oh wait... they're gone for now. Hmm, maybe Andy's on to something...
