German thereminist, Barbara Buchholz will be releasing a new album on October 18th entitled "Theremin_russiawithlove". She also has an upcoming project planned in 2005 with Lydia Kavina called "Touch! Don`t touch!". She reports that five Russian and five German composers are writing pieces for two theremins,
cello, violin, percussion, piano. She and Lydia
will perform the music together with musicians from "Kammerensemble Neue Musik Berlin".
The first concert will be on 30.3.05 in Weimar, Germany, at the festival of contemporary music.
