New book sets the Good Vibrations story straight

Strange Sounds: Offbeat Instruments and Sonic Experiments in Pop by Mark Brend is a walk through the use of experimental/nonstandard instruments in pop. His examination of the theremin includes a detailed look at the Tannerin - the actual instrument used in the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations. Levnet members David Miller and Tom Polk contributed heavily to this excellent read.
