Well it's starting!
All those lucky aether-folk are arriving, checking in, and digging in.

Sure wish we all were there!
Hope it's a wonderful time for everyone involved.

Just checked into the hotel. It's pretty quiet here right now. However, it will get very busy as 4:30 approaches and the opening reception begins.

The festival got off to a great start and opening, at a reception in the hotel, by Chris, Linda, Heidi from Moog Music. We were honored with an appearance by Bob Moog's wife, Ileana Grams-Moog. Many of the performers/teachers were in attendance like Lydia Kavina, Shueh-Li Ong, Randy George, and Carolina Eyck to name a few. There were also new faces yearning for a taste of professional theremin performances and hands-on classes from all over the country. More later.

I finally met my friend Kevin Kissinger, who has given me LOTS of encouragement during my construction of Gabby and my playing style.

Thomas Grillo was there today and I made a new friend.

Also got acquainted with Randy George, Richardo Islas, and Carolina Eyck. All great folks.
Lydia is a fun lady!! She puts lot of energy into her presentations.

The Ether Orchestra was, hmmmm, shall we say, interesting??? Gabby gave me some problems. She doesn't seem to like line voltage variations. The antennas put out a huge field so any changes in the environment are immediately apparent.

Sheri and I hope to tour the Moog plant tomorrow.
