In one of the more shocking displays of performance art we've seen in a while, watch as the group ArcAttack performs the Dr. Who theme on two giant Tesla coils at this year's MakerFaire.
From their site, ArcAttack describes the rig as "Two custom engineered hand built Tesla Coils throw out electrical arcs up to twelve feet long, each one acting as an instrument with a sound reminiscent of the early days of the synthesizer."

Probably would be easy to keep people out of one's control zone with a couple of those big coils.
