John Hoge To Play Theremin for Dracula in NJ

Something Wicked This Way Comes

TW editor John Hoge will play theremin for the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey's 4th annual Something Wicked This Way Comes benefit event. This year, the group will perform Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Director Brian B. Crowe points to the theremin as a critical component of the show:

A crucial part of the ambiance will be provided by musician John Hoge, who will play the Theremin. “Nothing says Halloween like Theremin music,” Crowe says. “It’s one of the most difficult instruments to play, because you never actually touch it,” Crowe says. “It’s beautiful to watch – almost like a dance.”

The show begins at 7:30pm on October 26th at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theater in Madison, NJ.
